Biography

2015-16: Repeated as CCSA Champion in the 100 and 200 breast at the CCSA Championships this spring, while setting a school record in the 100 breast... Earned gold in the 200 breast with a time of 1:58.75, while breaking his own school record in the 100 breast with a time of 54.16... Also placed seventh in the 200 IM with a time of 1:50.75... CCSA All-Academic Team... CSCAA Scholar All-American.

2014-15: Won two different events, while coming in fourth place in another at the 2015 CCSA Championships... Touched in at 1:49.87 in the 200 IM, placing fourth in the event... Won his first gold medal of the meet, touching the wall in 54.59 in the 100 breaststroke, setting the school record in the process... Also won the 200 breaststroke also setting a school record with a time of 1:58.05... Re-broke his school record in the 100 breaststroke at the ECAC Championships, finishing in 54.53... Took home silver at the same meet in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 1:59.13... Named to the CCSA All-Academic Team.

2013-14: Improved his school record in the 200-yd. breaststroke (2:00.15) and broke the UMBC mark in the 100-yd. breaststroke (54.70) event at the 2014 CCSA Championships… After setting the record in the 100-yd. event in the prelims, he won a bronze medal in the event in the nighttime finals… Smashed his previous mark in the 200-yd. race in the finals at the CCSA meet to garner another bronze medal… Helped the 200- (1:28.99) and 400-yd. medley relay (3:14.41) teams break the UMBC program record and gain silver medals at the conference championship meet… Also competed in the 200 IM at the CCSA Championships, advancing to the finals and placing seventh with a career-best time of 1:51.87, which ranks as the seventh-fastest time in Retriever history… Claimed six individual victories during the dual meet season… Won a silver medal in the 100-yd. breaststroke at the Patriot Invitational at George Mason.

2012-13: Won his first career collegiate gold medal, taking first in the 200-yd. breaststroke at the America East Championships at Maine… Broke the UMBC school record in the event with a time of 2:00.86 in the event finals… Also won a bronze medal in the 100 breast as the Retrievers reclaimed their conference title… Broke the pool record in the 100-yd. prelims with a time of 55.79 which also ranks second in UMBC program history… Finished sixth in the 200 IM at the America East meet after recording a season-best time in the prelims (1:53.83)… Won five dual meet events as the Retrievers’ recorded their second-ever undefeated dual meet season… Named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Background: Holds the Bavarian age group record in the 50 and 100m breast... Set the club record in the 50, 100, and 200m breast... Placed 14th in the 50m breast at the German Short Course Championships... Also played basketball and competed in track and field.

Personal: Son of Norbert and Jutta Endres... Has one brother, Wolfgang... Plans to major in biology with the ambition of getting a master's degree... Born Feb. 9, 1993.
