Biography

2014-15: Earned a spot in the NCAA Zone Diving Championships for the third year in a row... He swept both diving disciplines at the CCSA Championships, scoring a new career best of 342.65 on the 3-meter boards, setting the meet record in the process... On the 1-meter boards, he won gold with a score of 317.15... At the zone meet, he scored a 242.10 on the 3-meter and 228.20 on the 1-meter platform... Named Diver of the Year in the CCSA.

2013-14: Qualified for the NCAA Zones for the second straight year… Became the first Retriever male diver to advance to the finals at the Zones meet by moving on in the 1-meter competition and placing 18th overall… Finished 17th in the opening round… Won the 3-meter diving event at the CCSA Championships with a career-best score of 318.95… Also garnered a silver medal in the 1-meter event at the championships in Knoxville, Tenn. and was honored with the Most Outstanding Diver of the Meet award as the Retrievers placed second as a team… Set a career-best in the 1-meter event (319.85) during the prelims at the CCSA meet… Later named the CCSA Diver of the Year… Qualified for the Zones meet by scoring 304.65 on the 1-meter board on UMBC’s training trip to South Florida on Jan. 4... Named the CCSA Diver of the Week twice during his junior season.

2012-13: Qualified for the NCAA Zones meet by scoring 318.075 in the 1-meter while competing against West Virginia in Coral Springs, Fla. … Set career-bests on both the 1-meter and 3-meter (278.92) during the season… Placed fourth in the 3-meter and fifth in the 1-meter competitions at the America East Championships where the Retrievers reclaimed their conference title… Selected to the America East All-Academic Team… Named to the America East Honor Roll.

2011-12: Finished seventh in the 3-meter competition and tenth in the 1-meter competition at the America East Championships... Scored a season-best 254.32 in the 3-meter event at Drexel on Feb. 11... Top 1-meter score was 234.60 in an unscored meet with Towson on Oct. 29... Named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll.  

Background: Three-time Junior Olympic national champion in acrobatic gymnastics (2007, 2010, 2011)… Also won silver in 2009 and bronze in 2008… An AP Scholar and an honor roll student.

Personal: Son of Patrick and Cristina Green… Mother played volleyball at Florida State… Has two siblings, Austin and Delaney… Also a talented musician… Majoring in mechanical engineering… Born Nov. 1, 1993.
