Emine luznar and Tess Curtis won weekly awards

Curtis and Luznar Earn America East Weekly Honors

BOSTON - Following their efforts in an America East-opener win over visiting Binghamton on Saturday, UMBC Women's Lacrosse standouts Tess Curtis and Emine Luznar were honored with weekly awards by the Conference on Monday afternoon.

Curtis was named the America East Offensive Player of the Week after she scored a career-high four goals and added an assist, while Luzanr was named the Goalie of the Week for the second time this season by making nine stops, picking up two ground balls and having a caused turnover. 

The Retrievers travel to Vermont for a Friday morning contest at 11 a.m.
