Ella Squaires were named to the America East Preseason All-Conference team, the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon. The Softball team was also tabbed to finish third in the preseason poll, both the poll and Preseason All-Conference team were voted on by the league's coaches.
Riggs, a first team all-conference selection in 2025, is one of the top returning offensive threats in the conference as she batted .343 with 11 homers, 33 RBI and a team-best 25 walks. Carroll is a two-way player as she can also pitch, and has a career .261 average with nine homers and 49 RBI. Squaires is a slap-htting speedy outfielder who went 89-for-89 in the outfield last season and is a career .345 hitter with 98 hits in 88 career games.Â
