UMBC Swimming & Diving head coach Matt Donovan announced the program's 2025-26 schedule on Wednesday.

"We are really excited for the upcoming season," said Donovan. "This schedule has a great blend of old rivalries and a few new ones to keep the program moving in the right direction. We have a good mix of veterans on the team and new members to help us work towards new levels of success. Should be a fun year for the Dawgs!"

After the annual Alumni/Black & Gold Meet on September 20, the competition season begins at American on October 3. The home slate opens on October 11 when UMBC hosts Navy and William & Mary in a family weekend tri-meet.

The Retrievers will once again make the short trip to the three-day Loyola Invite October 24-26, before returning home to host another tri-meet with Howard and VMI on Novermber 8, and then heading to the Bucknell Invite November 21-23.

The Dawgs close the first the 2025 portion of the schedule on December 6 with a split squad day of action, as the divers host the first ever Retriever Diving Invite, and the swimmers travel to face Salisbury. 

2026 begins on January 24 by hosting a Senior Day tri-meet with Frostburg State (swimming only) and Mary Washington (diving only). A dual meet at local rival Towson on January 31 is followed by the diving team competing in the Navy Winter Invite on February 7.

The America East Championships will once again be hosted by VMI and will be held February 18-21.
