BALTIMORE -- The UMBC Softball team rallied from a 3-0 first inning deficit to defeat Colgate, 8-4, on Friday afternoon at The Diamond.
The Retrievers would later drop an 11-1(5) decision to Lehigh.
Emily Riggs went 3-for-4 with a three run homer while
Maggie Frisvold struck out six in her complete game victory.
Mikayla Bryant and
Ella Squaires each went 2-for-3, with Bryant adding an RBI single.
Amya Lundy and
Erin Behel each had a double and RBI, while
Parker Kraus added a single of her own.
Bryant homered in game two against Lehigh, while Riggs and Squaires also had a hit in the contest.
The Retrievers host Canisius and Colgate on Saturday beginning at 9 am.
