BOSTON -- Following another standout meet, UMBC Swimming & Diving freshman Quinn Marchionini has been named the America East Rookie of the Week, the Conference announced on Tuesday morning. 

Marchionini competed in six events at the Bucknell Invitational: 400 Medley Relay- 47.86 leadoff (1st in conference), 200 IM- 1:48.88 (2nd in conference), 200 Medley Relay- 22.18 leadoff (1st in conference), 100 Back- 48.86, 200 Back- 1:48.07 (2nd in conference), 100 Fly- 48.62 (3rd in conference) and the 400 Free Relay- 45.68 split.

The Retrievers return to the pool on December 6 at 1 p.m. when the swimmers visit Salisbury and the divers host the inaugural Retriever Diving Invite.
