Bethlehem, Pa. – The UMBC men's cross country team wrapped up their season with a strong performance at the 2025 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals, held at the Goodman course (10K) on Friday afternoon at Lehigh.
The Retrievers finished 14th out of 28 teams, with an average time of 31:39.9 among their top five runners.
Leading the team was First Team All-America East performer
Daniel Danilovitz, who secured 45th place out of 197 competitors with a time of 30:58.3, marking the second-best 10K time in the program's history. Danilovitz advanced 23 positions during the final half of the race.
Classmate
Kieran Mischke achieved the eighth-best time in program history, finishing 71st overall in 31:26.7. Mischke advanced 42 spots after the first mile.
Sophomore
Justin Banks placed 98th with a time of 31:49.5, while freshman
Kieran White followed closely in 99th place with a time of 31:50.5.
Junior
Sofiane Compaorg completed UMBC's scoring by finishing 118th in 32:14.4.
