Riggs Drives in Pair, but Softball Concludes Season

Orono, ME. -- Emily Riggs hit a two-run double, to cut an early deficit to one, but they would get no closer as the UMBC Softball team concluded the 2024 season with a 6-2 loss to third-seeded Bryant on Wednesday night.

The Retrievers also got a double from Lyndsey Evix and a single from Macy Granzow in the contest.

Mikayla Bryant stole a pair of bases and both Jerzie Nutile and Ashley Della Guardia walked and scored a run.
