ABOUT THE RETRIEVERS
- JR Kolby Weedon is eighth in the America East Conference with 3.67 points per game. The junior went over the 100-point mark for her career in the victory at Mount St. Mary's. She also ranks 12th on the circuit with 2.22 goals per game and needs eight more to reach 100 for her career.
- JR attacker Grace Bruce leads the Dawgs with 31 goals and ranks third in the league with 3.44 per game. Bruce is also fifth in points per game (3.67). She ranks among the top-25 in the country in goals. Bruce, who went 3-for-3 on free position shots last weekend at Bryant, has six hat-tricks on the season to lead the Retrievers. She has scored four or more goals five times.

- Bruce scored four goals, but the visiting Retrievers dropped a 15-10 decision against the Bryant Bulldogs, in the America East season-opener for both squads on Saturday morning. Bruce hit the target on four of her six shots and juniors Kolby Weedon (game-high three cause turnovers) and Katana Nelson (one assist) each contributed a hat trick to lead UMBC's offensive efforts.
