LAST TIME OUT: UMBC WINS OT THRILLER AT TEMPLE

Claire Bockstie, the current America East Offensive Player of the Week, scored with just over two minutes left in overtime to give UMBC a thrilling, 11-10, victory against the Temple Owls on Saturday afternoon.
 - Bockstie, who moved into a tie for fifth place (Ali Levendusky '08) on UMBC's all-time goals list with 139, took a feed in front of the goal from junior attacker
Mary Ellis (2 assists) and beat Owls' keeper Taylor Grollman with a shot to the upper left-corner of the net. The play came just seconds after a yellow card was assessed to the Owls for unnecessary roughness.
 - Bockstie, who also distributed a career-high five assists, recorded seven points to move into ninth place on the Retrievers' all-time scoring list with 178 points.
 - UMBC (5-2) received four goals and an assist from sophomore attacker
Kolby Weedon while graduate student attacker
Lauren Cremen added three goals and an assist. Junior goalkeeper
Isabella Fontana made eight saves in goal.
 - UMBC's defense came up big as the unit allowed just two goals after halftime. In addition, the Retrievers held Temple's top two-scorers without a single goal.
- Bockstie has been honored by the conference five times during her career, including twice this season. She is second in the league with 3.29 goals per game and third in points per game (5.14).

- Bockstie is 12th in points per game (5.14), 20th in goals per game (3.29), 32nd in assists per game (1.86), and 17th in shots on goal per game (5.57).
