BALTIMORE – The UMBC men's swimming and diving squads will host Navy at the UMBC Aquatic Complex on Friday, Oct. 20. The meet gets underway at 4:00 p.m. and live results will be available on the Meet Mobile app.
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR US LATELY: - Senior Dan Nicusan took gold in all four events he competed in as the UMBC Men's Swimming and Diving team defeated a very strong La Salle squad, 155-145, on Oct. 7.
Nicusan won the 100 Back, 100 Free, 200 IM and was on the gold-winning 200 Medley relay.

Max Casey-Bolanos and
Bode Neale were the other Retriever victors on the day, capturing the 200 backstroke and 200 freestyle respectively. But UMBC posted a pair of 1-2-3 finishes in the 100 backstroke and 200 IM to seal the victory.
VERSUS NAVY: UMBC has faced Navy in 11 consecutive complete winter campaigns. The Mids have prevailed in the last nine meets, dating back to a Retriever win in 2012-13. Last year, Navy prevailed, 163-115 in Annapolis. Neale captured the 50 freestyle in a time of 21.07.
THE MIDSHIPMEN: Navy dropped its opening meet, 192.5-107.5 at Penn State on Oct. 7.
2023-24 AMERICA EAST CHAMPIONSHIPS: The post-season gets underway on February 14-17 when the men hope to defend their title and the women strive to re-capture the crown at the America East Swimming & Diving Championships. The championships move south to Lexington, Va. in 2024 as associate league member VMI hosts at the one-year old VMI Aquatic Center.
NEXT MEET: UMBC will compete against local rivals Towson, Johns Hopkins and host Loyola-Maryland at the Greyhounds' Invitational Meet on Oct. 27-29.
