Bobb, 4x400m Relay Pace Women’s Track and Field at Fasttrack National Invite

UMBC women’s track and field freshman Caitlyn Bobb continued her torrid start to her collegiate career with a second place finish in the 400m dash and helping the 4x400m relay to a win as the anchor leg at the Fasttrack National Invite on Friday.

Staten Island, N.Y.-- UMBC women's track and field freshman Caitlyn Bobb continued her torrid start to her collegiate career with a second place finish in the 400m dash and helping the 4x400m relay to a win as the anchor leg at the Fasttrack National Invite on Friday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Bobb nearly matched her school record in the 400m that she set earlier in the year, finishing in a time of 54.92.
Bobb also ran the anchor leg of the 4x400m relay, teaming up with Ariella Garcia, Collese Daley, and Ayanna Johnson to win in a time of 3:51.14.
Garcia and Daley had individual success on Friday with Garcia earning eighth in the 400m with a time of 58.14, with Daley taking 11th in the 200m in 25.49.
Melissa Kameka finished fifth in the 800m in 2:18.16.
Petronilla Onyebadi and Savannah Wright finished just ahead of Daley in the 200m in seventh place (25.26) and ninth place (25.43) respectively.
Autumn Winston, Za'Kayza Parsons, and Arie McIlwain rounded out the track athletes with Winston taking 13th in the 400m (59.20), Parsons finishing seventh in the 60m dash finals (7.91), and McIlwain taking 13th in the 60m hurdles (9.30).
In the field, Eleni Zotou earned a sixth place finish in the weight throw with a toss of 15.82m
