BALTIMORE -- This Friday, UMBC Cross Country travels up to Penn State to compete in the NCAA Mid Atlantic Cross Country Regional Meet. The women's 6k will begin tomorrow morning at 10:30, with the men's 10k beginning at 11:30.

• This competition will be the first competition since the Retrievers hosted the America East Cross Country Championships two weeks ago.
• Leading the team on Friday is Sophomore Cameron Hindle who placed 1st for the Retrievers, 14th overall at the America East Championships 8k with a time of 24:55.9. Last year at the Mid-Atlantic Regional meet, Hindle led the Retrievers with a 73rd place finish in a time of 32:39.2 for 10 kilometers.
• Baraka Sila and Jafar Hussen will likely be in close proximiy to Hindle tomorrow morning. Sila and Hussen finished close behind Hindle last meet, crossing the line 21st and 22nd in a time of 25:18.9 and 25:20.7 respectively.
