Men's Cross Country Wins Second Straight Mount St. Mary's 5K Dual Meet

Danilovitz Wins First Individual Title

Emmitsburg, MD – Sophomore Daniel Danilovitz secured his first individual title by winning the Mount St. Mary's 5K Dual meet held on Friday morning.

Danilovitz led the men's cross country team to a second consecutive championship, as the Dawgs finished with a total of 15 points, having seven of the top eight finishers. He crossed the finish line with a time of 15:31.59.

Senior Thomas Foulkes had an outstanding performance, finishing as the runner-up with a time of 15:45.41. The scoring was completed by sophomore Kieran Mischke (3rd place, 15:48.99), sophomore Justin Banks (4th place, 15:52.64), and sophomore Joseph Ensor (5th place, 15:55.06). Junior Sofiane Compaorg also had a strong showing, finishing 6th with a time of 15:56.85, while freshman Kieran White finished 8th in 16:04.60.

Other teams competing included Catholic (77 points), Howard (83 points), Gettysburg (91 points), Mount St. Mary's (136 points), and McDaniel (152 points).
