Scouting the Retrievers (7-3, 1-0)
- The Retrievers won their first America East conference game of the season with a 16-5 victory over the UMass Lowell River Hawks. - The defense, led by junior goalkeeper Ashley Peacock (Crofton, Md./Elizabeth Seton/Louisville) with nine saves and six ground balls, held the River Hawks scoreless for nearly 30 minutes of play.
