UMBC Indoor Track and Field Completes Indoor Season at IC4A/ECAC Championships

BOSTON-- The UMBC indoor track and field teams finished competition for the 2008-09 season at the IC4A/ECAC Indoor Championships in Boston, Mass. Sunday as the men finished tied for 25th with 10 points and the women finished tied for 45th with four points.

Sophomore transfer Victor Gilreath (Catonsville, Md./Western Tech/Maryland) placed fifth in the men's triple jump with a mark of 15.16m (49'9"), while junior Dominic Devaud (Baltimore, Md./Archbishop Curley) finished fifth in the heptathlon with 4,977 points.

Junior Antonio Thomas (Columbia, Md./Long Reach) placed seventh in the 200-meter dash in 21.92, while freshman Imani Colbert (Upper Marlboro, Md./C.H. Flowers) was the only woman to compete Sunday, finishing fifth in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.67.

The Retrievers kick off the outdoor season March 28 at the Maryland Invitational.
