Kya Matter (Dalmatia, Pa.) is the UMBC Female Athlete of the Week after after another impressive weekend in which she was named the America East Co-Rookie of the Week. It is the fourth time this season Matter has earned the honor. Matter went 2-0 while allowing just one earned run in 12 2/3 vs. UAlbany. She fanned 21 while walking only two.
