Abdul Kamara is the UMBC Athlete of the Week after he was named the the America East Offensive Player of the Week. 

Kamara, a junior transfer from George Mason, scored a pair of goals in a 5-1 victory over Presbyterian on Friday evening to receive his first America East honor. Kamara scored two second-half goals to put away the Blue Hose, first drilling his second penalty kick of the season in the 61st minute after Flynn Holdem drew a foul in the box. He then added a second in the 69th minute, catching the keeper coming too far out to push the UMBC lead to 5-1.
