Lily Bandy is the UMBC Athlete of the Week after she was named America East Rookie of the Week. Bandy competed in the 200, 4x100, and 4x400 relays, posting strong results in all three events. The freshman posted the top time in the America East in the 200 so far, crossing the finish line in 24.15 to move into third on UMBC's all-time performance list. As part of the 4x100 and 4x400 relays, Bandy helped the Retrievers post times of 46.91 and 3:41.81 respectively. The 4x400 time ranks 17th in Division I so far, while the 4x100 time is 87th.
