Heidi Williams is the UMBC Athlete of the Week after she became the second Retriever this season to win back-to-back America East Rookie of the Week honors, joining Kennedy Austin. Williams also becomes the first UMBC player since Sara Tarbert in 2014 to earn four weekly awards in a season.

Williams averaged 11.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals in the two victories, putting forth a dominant effort versus Binghamton. Williams scored 17 points, pulled down six rebounds, and nabbed three steals in the six-point win over the Bearcats.
