Enazajah Young is the UMBC Athlete of the Week after she continued the impressive start to her career by being named the America East Track Performer and Rookie of the Week, the Conference announced on Tuesday.

Young, who was named the Rookie of the Week after her first career meet in December, broke her own school record in the 60 hurdles on Friday at the VCU Rams Indoor Invitational in Virginia Beach.

Young broke the school record last month in her first collegiate race, and then broke it again on Friday in her second career meet, as she won the event in 8.37.
