Daniel Danilovitz is the UMBC Athlete of the Week after he was recognized as the #AEMXC Performer of the Week for the second time this season. The Moosic, Pennsylvania native claimed the individual title at the 2025 Cantello Invitational, hosted by the U.S. Naval Academy, by completing the 4.9-mile course in a time of 24:52.5, averaging a pace of 5:05. He previously earned this honor on September 3 after winning the Mount St. Mary's 5K Dual Meet. Last season, Danilovitz claimed the #AEMXC Freshman of the Week Award four times.
