Nick Remy is the UMBC Athlete of the Week after he was named the America East Pitcher of the Week. Remy picked up the win in both America East victories over UMass Lowell. Went four innings without allowing a hit, walking just one and striking out six. In his second win, entered with the bases loaded and one out in extras and retired all five batters he faced, first he got a flyout and then struckout the next four batters in a row before UMBC walked off. In game one on Friday, entered a tie game with runners at the corners and two outs and got a strikeout to end the threat before working a scoreless 8th and perfect ninth to pick up the win.
