Janee'a Summers (Bound Brook, N.J.) was named UMBC Athlete of the Week after helping the Retrievers to a 1-1 week that included a huge fourth quarter comeback against New Hampshire on February 6th. In that game, Summers tied a career-high with 25 points, scoring 13 of them in the fourth quarter. UMBC rallied from a 17 point deficit with just over 10 minutes to play, outscoring the Wildcats 23-4 in the final quarter. 

Summers hit a career-high five threes and added five rebounds, two steals and one assist.
