Emigdio Tormo Lopez is the UMBC Athlete of the Week after he was named the America East Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday. The junior goalkeeper posted a shutout victory and made five saves, including a highlight-reel stop in the final 20 minutes to shut out No. 16 Vermont on Saturday night.
