Freshman Kieran Mischke is the UMBC Athlete of the Week after he was named the #AEMXC Rookie of the Week on Tuesday after his performance last Saturday in Annapolis, Maryland.

Mischke was the top performer for the Retrievers as they placed fifth out of ten teams at the Cantello Invitational, hosted by Navy at the Navy Golf Course last Saturday morning.

Mischke covered the 4.9-mile course in 25:49.50 and placed 24th overall.
