UMBC junior Caitlyn Bobb  is the UMBC Athlete of the Week after she captured a trifecta of gold medals on the second day of America East Conference Championship competition, taking home the 200 meter and 400 meter titles and anchoring the 4x400 meter relay championship quartet.

Bobb duplicated her 2022 feat when she captured both the 200 and 400. In the shorter race, she crossed the tape in 23.95, dropping under the 24.0-second mark for the first time in her career and ending up just 0.14 seconds shy of a school record. In the 400m, Bobb posted a time of 53.92 and freshman Genelle Stephens earned bronze, posting the fourth-best time in school history at 55.96.
