Liam Meginniss is the UMBC Athlete of the Week after he recorded a personal best in the 1000m run, earning a sixth place finish among 27 athletes with a time of 2:26.54. His time currently leads the America East conference by less than a second in the tightly contested 1000m. He posted the fifth-best time in school history, beating everyone not wearing a PSU uniform.
