Junior Baraka Sila is the UMBC Athlete of the Week after he was the first Retriever to cross the finish line for the third consecutive meet. He finished in 77th place in a time of 25:12.7, thirty seconds faster than his 8k mark two weeks ago at Paul Short. Sila came from off the pace in this race, as he passed 55 runners over the final 5.1k of the competition.
