Biography

2020 Indoor: Was a member of the gold medal-winning 4x800m relay team at the America East Championships… Also competed in the 500m, 800m and mile runs during the indoor season… Set a season-best in the 500m at the Great Dane Classic with a time of 1:16.71… Turned in a time of 2:11.63 in the 800m at the Penn State National Open before posting a career-best in the mile at the UAlbany Winter Classic with a time of 5:10.01.

2019 Indoor: Competed in multiple events during the indoor season… Started the year at the Great Dane Classic with a time of 2:59.59 in the 1,000m… Followed that with a season-best time of 5:01.55 in the mile at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge Cup… Continued her strong indoor season at the Penn State Tune-Up with a career-best time of 56.70 in the 400m and capped the season in the 800m with a new career-best of 2:07.91 in the finals of the 800m at the America East Championships.

2019 Outdoor:
Followed up her strong 2018 campaign with another strong outdoor season in 2019… Started off the year with a new career-best in the 800m at the Florida Relays with a time of 2:07.95, ending the year by competing in the finals at both the America East Championships and ECAC Championships… Also ran a career-best in the 1,500m at the George Mason Spring Invitational with a time of 4:38.41.

2018 Indoor: Ran in the 800m and 1,000m runs during her second season with the Retrievers… Had a season best in the 1,000m at the Penn State Tune-Up with a time of 3:00.41 before turning in a career best at the America East Championships in the 800m run (2:10.97).

2018 Outdoor:
Helped the Retrievers in mid-distance events during the outdoor season… Finished the 800m run at the NCAA Prelims, setting a school record with a time of 2:04.96… Also ran the 1,500m during the season, setting a season best time of 4:45.69 at the Sam Howell Invite…. Earned a trip to the NCAA Prelims for her efforts in the 800m run.

2016-17 Indoor: Ran in distance events, mostly the 800m… Set team best times in the 600m and 800m with 1:36.67 (Bucknell Tri Meet) and 2:16.24 (Sykes & Sabock Challenge Cup), respectively… Posted her best 500m time with a 1:15.86 at the IC4A/ECAC Indoor Championships.

2017 Outdoor: Ran in the 800m dash… Set the team best mark in the 800m with a 2:14.48 at the Bison Outdoor Classic.

Background: Earned Michigan State High School Association Division I All-State honors in 800 meters in 2015… Set the Salem school record with her teammates in the 4 x 400 meter relay (4:01.49)… Named to 2015 Observerland All-Area First team in the 800m… Also captured 2015 Kensington Conference championship in 800m and 4 x 400 relay…  Played club soccer in Germany for two years… Considering a major in computer science…  A member of the National Honor Society… Lists favorite food as raspberries… Has a younger brother, Bode… Daughter of Connie and Jason Knake.
