2016 Outdoor: Reached a season best height of 3.25m in the pole vault at the Mason Spring Invitational.

2015-16 Indoor: Competed in the pole vault for the Retrievers, clearing a season best height of 3.18m at the Sykes and Sabock Challenge.

2015 Outdoor: Competed at Mason Spring Invitational in the pole vault, clearing her best height of 3.20m (10'6").

2014-15 Indoor: Competed in the pole vault during her first season in Baltimore... Cleared her best height of the season at the America East Championships at 3.30m (10'10") placing sixth.

Background: Won the Maryland 1A state championship in pole vault her junior and senior seasons, sweeping both indoor and outdoor competitions… Emma currently holds the Maryland 1A record in the pole vault… Was also a four year letter winner in soccer and a three year letter winner in lacrosse… She was a member of the National Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society at Smithsburg High School.

Personal: Daughter of Donna and Tom Gerhold… Has one sister, Erika… Plans on majoring in chemical engineering… Born on Feb. 6, 1996.
