- Touched in second place, behind teammate Caroline Sargent, in the 100 backstroke at VMI
- Finished just off the podium, taking fourth place in the 100 backstroke at the America East Championships
- Posted personal bests in 50 and 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke events in Newark
BACKGROUND
- Competed in the All-African Games and the Arab Junior Championships in the summer of 2019
- Interested in a career in graphic design
- An honor roll student at the El Alsson American International School in Cairo
- A member of the Gezira Sporting Club
- Enjoys the music of Alan Walker and the movie, The Book Thief
