Chante Sandiford

Chante Sandiford joined the women’s soccer staff as anassistant coach in August of 2014. Sandiford works primarily withthe team’s goalkeepers.

Sandiford was a two-year starter for UCLA in 2009-10, where sheposted 17 shutouts in 48 games played. She helped the Bruins to aPac 10 Conference finals appearance and a College Cup Final Fourberth in 2009. She finished the season with a 0.64 save percentage,while the team posted a 21-2-1 overall mark.

Following her collegiate playing days, Sandiford went on tocompete for FK Zorkiy of the Russian Premier League. She registered18 shutouts in 33 games and went on to earn Russian League Keeperof the Year honors after guiding her team to a Russian SupremeDivision Championship in 2013.

Sandiford was also able to gain coaching experience throughouther playing career, conducting individual goalkeeper training, aswell as serving as an assistant coach for Montgomery College inRockville, Maryland. During her time with the Raptors, Sandifordwas in charge of the team’s goalkeepers, conditioning programand academic progress.

Sandiford graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree ingeography in 2011.
