Accolades: (2017-18) Earned America East Fall Academic Honor Roll accolades... (2016-17) Earned America East Commissioner’s Fall Academic Honor Roll status… Presented at UMBC’s 21st Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement Day. (2014-15) Named to the America East Commissioners' Fall Academic Honor Roll.
2017: Competed at the season-opening Mount St. Mary’s 5k Duals.
2016: Saw action in UMBC’s first two meets of the campaign.
2015: Did not compete in 2015.
2014: Did not compete as a freshman.
Background: Named Frederick News-Post Honorable Mention her sophomore campaign… In addition to Cross Country, she placed first at the 2011 Maryland Outdoor Track and Field State Championships in the 800m, and placed fifth in the 400m the same year… Named Frederick News Post All-Area First Team (2011), as well as Frederick News-Post Athlete of the Year in 2012… She holds various school records for track in the 800m, 1600m, 4x800m, and 4x400m… Ranked fourth in her class out of 240… A member of the National Honor Society, and National Social Studies Honor Society.
Personal: Daughter of Stephanie and Larry Steinly… Has one brother, Jackson, and one sister Julia.
