Accolades: (2016-17) An America East Presidential Scholar… Earned America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll status… Inducted into National College Athlete Honor Society (Chi Alpha Sigma)  (2014-15) Named to the America East Commissioners' Honor Roll  (2013-14) Named to the America East Commissioners' Honor Roll. 

 

2016: Competed in all six meets in her final campaign… Posted her best 6k time of the season at the Princeton Invitational with a mark of 23:26.1. 

 

2015: Ran and scored in two meets for the Retrievers... Opened the year by scoring at the Mount 5k Duals, finishing in a time of 19:32... Ran the very next week at the Wolfie Invitational, finishing the race in 19:58.

 

2014: Competed in two meets for the Retrievers... Placed 45th at the Mount 5K Duals with a time of 19:42... Finished the Salty Dog Invitational with a time of 25:16. 

 

2013: Competed in five meets for the Retrievers, scoring twice during her freshman season… Earned a scoring spot in her first-ever collegiate meet, placing 20th overall at the America East Pre-Conference Meet at Binghamton… Posted a 5k time of 19:42.7 at the season-opening meet in Vestal, N.Y. … Also scored the next week at the Salty Dog Invitational at Navy, finishing 31st with a 6k time of 22:34.40, her best time of the season. 

 

Background: Led Reservoir to the county, regional and state cross country titles as a senior in 2012... Selected to the All-County First by The Howard County Times and the All-Metro First Team by The Baltimore Sun in 2012... Won the 2012 Southern Bulldog Invitational in a course-record time of 19:35... Second Team All-County selection by The Howard County Times in 2011... Holds the Reservoir High records for the 5k, three-mile, 1600 (outdoor), and 3200m (indoor and outdoor)... Also a part of the 4x800, 4000m distance medley and 4x16000m relay teams which own school records... 2013 3A East Region champion in the 1600m.

Personal: Daughter of Ken and Linda Alms... Her mother ran track at UMBC... Has one sister, Christina... Earned her degree in biological sciences.
