Biography

2022 Outdoor: Ran in the 200m and 400m dashes during the 2022 outdoor season… Ended his season on a high note, setting both of his season-best times at the America East Championships… Finished the 200m with a time of 22.55 and the 400m with a time of 51.73.

2021-22 Indoor: Ran in the 200m and 400m during the 2021-22 indoor season… Had a season-best time of 53.85 in the 400m at the Fastrack National Invite… Set a career-best in the 200m at the Navy Invitational with a time of 23.16.

2021 Outdoor: Competed in a pair of sprint events for the Retrievers during the 2021 outdoor season… Ran a season-best time of 23.49 in the 200m at the Towson Invitational in April… Had a season-best time in the 400m at the NC A&T Aggie Classic with a time of 53.25.

2020 Indoor: Ran in a trio of sprint events during his rookie season… Opened the year with a season-best in the 500m at the Great Dane Classic with a time of 1:10.26… Ended the season with a time of 23.66 in the 200m at the UAlbany Winter Classic and a time of 52.29 in the 400m at the Fastrack National Invite.

Background: Competed in track and field at Harford Tech where he was a part of the 4x400m relay team that finished third at the indoor state championships in 2018… On his club track team, he was a part of the 4x200m relay that qualified for AAU Junior Olympics… Son of Christy and Anthony McKinizie Sr… Has three siblings, Maya, Ciara, and Alicia… Lists favorite food as stromboli and favorite musical artist as Kendrick Lamar.
