2012-13: Won his lone doubles match of the spring, competing at the No. 3 slot and defeating Howard's duo, 8-4... Competed in three singles matches and two additional doubles matches in his first fall semester at UMBC.

Background: Highly-acclaimed junior college transfer from Harford Community College… Earned a top 20 junior college ranking in doubles and a top 40 ranking in singles in 2012… A member of the National Honor Society and the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society… Majoring in financial economics and minoring in mathematics… A fan of the movie Braveheart…Has a younger sister, Forestt, who is 17… Mother, Vicki, competed in swimming at Towson University… Son of Vicki and Ross McCawley… Born March 23, 1992.
