- Played 405 minuted and led UMBC's trio of keepers with. a terrific 0.89 goals against average
- Made 23 saves, including a career single-game high five stops in the victory at Howard
- Earned her second career win versus Mount St. Mary'sÂ
- Made four saves in a start at Longwood and did not surrender a goal
2023
- Made her first five career appearances and started three games in goal
- Recorded a 1.92 goals against average along with a .727 saves percentage
- Earned her first career victory and shutout in 90 minutes of action versus Iona
- Made a career-high seven saves in the tie against UMass Lowell. Played all 90 minutes in the match
2022
- Did not make an appearance during in the 2022 season
BACKGROUND:
- Was team captain at Irvington High School as a junior and senior.
- A three-time All-League selection, while also being named All-Section twice and All-State once.
- Had a career-best nine saves in a 1-0 win against eventual state champion Bronxville, the lone loss for Bronxville in 2021.
- Also lettered in lacrosse and basketball where she was a team captain in both as a senior.
- Helped Irvington win the basketball state championship in 2019.
PERSONAL:
- Daughter of Donna and Matthew Gavagan.
- Has one sibling, Grace.
- Has a career ambition of becoming a surgeon.
- Her favorite food is lobster roll and favorite musical artist is Riley Green.
- Chose UMBC because it is the perfect distance from home, loves the team environment, and for the growing program.
- Also has a talent for origami.
