2013: Competed in four of the Retrievers’ six meets as a senior… Posted a season-best 8k time of 25:40 at the Princeton Invitational on Oct. 15… Raced at the season-opening America East Pre-Conference Meet at Binghamton where UMBC took the top team honor… Also competed at the Navy Invitational and the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh… Raced at the Princeton Invitational on Oct. 19 as well… Named to the America East Honor Roll.
2012: Competed in all but one race for UMBC as a junior, scoring four times for the Retrievers… Secured a 15th-place at the America East Championships held in New Hampshire as UMBC took third overall in the team standings… Ran a career-best 8K time of 24:59.55 at the Princeton Invitational to move to sixth all-time in program history… Named to the America East Honor Roll.
2011: Competed in five of the Retrievers' six meets, scoring in the America East Championships... Placed 55th and finished in a career-best time of 26:18.29 at the conference meet... Top finish was 26th (15:59.02) at the season-opening 5k Mount St. Mary's Dual's.
2010: Competed in the first two meets of the season… Placed 32nd in the season-opening Mount St. Mary’s Duals in a 5K time of 16:36.91… Finished 80th at the Navy Invite in an 8K time of 28:11.07… Recognized on the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
Background: Named to the All-Conference First Team in 2008 and 2009 in cross country and honorable mention in track in 2008… Earned Academic All-Ohio honors in 2008 and 2009… Was a regional and state qualifier in cross country in his junior and senior seasons… Was a Scholar Athlete four times for track and field and three for cross country… Helped lead Rocky River High School to the Ohio State Cross Country Championship meet for the first time in school history in 2009… Graduated from RRHS with high honors and is a member of the French National Honors Society.
