Biography

2010: Only meet came at the Mount St. Mary’s Duals, where he finished 63rd in a career-best 5K time of 17:49.47… Named to the America East Honor Roll.

 

2009: Competed in the first three meets of the season… Set season-best 5K time at the Mount St. Mary’s Duals in 17:51.91 and a career-best 8K time of 29:05.30 at the Navy Invitational.

 

2008: Only competed in two meets in his debut season with the Retrievers… Finished the Mount St. Mary’s Dual 5K’s in 18:44.10 and the Towson Invitational in 30:21… Named to the America East Honor Roll.

 

Background: Helped Archbishop Curley to four straight outdoor championships from 2005-08… Aided the Friars to an indoor title in the MIAA during the 2005-06 season… Named MVP for cross country in 2007.

 

Personal: Son of Donna and Frank Hairfield… Has two older brothers, Frank, 27 and Brian, 24… Brother Brian competed at UMBC on the indoor and outdoor track and field teams… Majoring in Mechanical Engineering… Born June 20, 1990.
