Mike DuPaul

Michael DuPaul joins the men’s and women’s cross country teams as an assistant coach. Prior to joining the Retrievers, DuPaul came from University of Hartford, where he served as an assistant cross country and track and field coach for the Hawks.  

Having accomplished a lot during his collegiate years, DuPaul was a member of the Big East Indoor Track and Field Championship Team in 2006 and placed first in the New England Outdoor Track and Field 800 meter in the spring of 2010.  He’s broken numerous Hartford school records including the indoor and outdoor 800 meter records, which he still owns. In addition, he was a member of the record breaking outdoor track 4x4 team. 

Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration with an emphasis in accounting at the University of Connecticut in 2009. While attending UConn, DuPaul earned the Athletics Director Scholar Athlete Award for three consecutive semesters.  Later, he went on to pursue a Masters in accounting and taxation with an emphasis in financial assurance services at the University of Harford in 2010. 

DuPaul is no stranger to the field of cross-country as he has a USATF Level 1 Certification in coaching, NCAA Certification in recruiting and is an event specialist in endurance and jumping events.
