Biography

2014 Outdoor: Won his second career conferencegold medal by earning the top spot in the triple jump at the 2014America East Outdoor Track and Field Championships… Set acareer-best at the conference meet at Vermont with a leap of 14.97m(49’1.5”), a distance which ranks second in the UMBCrecord book… Earned a spot at the IC4A Championships withhis jump of 14.90m (48’10.75”) at the Morgan StateLegacy Meet… Placed eighth at the IC4A meet atPrinceton… Also competed in the high jump during the season,clearing 1.90m (6’2.75”) at the FSU Relays…Finished ninth in the event at the America East meet… Namedto the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2013-14 Indoor: Did not compete for UMBC.

2013 Outdoor: Did not compete in any meets.

2012-13 Indoor: Earned his first careerconference gold medal by winning the triple jump at the 2013America East Indoor Championships… Bested the league fieldwith a career-best leap of 15.01m (49’3.00”) whichranks as the second-best jump in UMBC program history… Alsofinished ninth in the high jump at the conference meet with aseason-best jump of 1.84m (6’0.25”)… Competed atthe IC4A Championships in the triple jump, placing 20th.

2012 Outdoor: Won a silver medal in the triplejump at the conference meet by jumping a distance of 14.50m (47'7")... Set a new personal outdoor standard at the IC4A competitionby leaping 14.59m (47' 10.5") which slots at sixth in the schoolrecord book.

2011-12 Indoor: Took the silver medal in thetriple jump with a distance of 14.37m (47' 1.75") at the AmericaEast Championships... Later set a personal-best and moved intothird place all-time in UMBC history, at the time, by reaching14.62m (47' 11.75") at the IC4A meet in Boston... Set season-bestsin both the long jump and high jump at the Lafayette/Rider WinterGames.

2011 Outdoor: Finished fifth overall (14.39m,47'2.5") in the triple jump at the America East OutdoorChampionships. 

2010-2011 Indoor: Placed fourth overall(14.25m, 46'9") in the triple jump at the NYRR Saturday Nightat the Armory.

Background: Earned All-Country honors threetimes… County champion in the triple jump in 2009…Two-time New York State qualifier in the high jump and triplejump… At St. Francis, earned silver in thetriple jump at both the 2010 Northeast Conference Indoor andOutdoor Championships... Is currently St. Francis' schoolrecord holder in the triple jump… Won the triple jumpat the 2010 Lou Onesty Invitational.
