Track and Field Complete Pepsi Florida Relays on Saturday

Gainesville, Fla. – The UMBC track and field team finished their weekend at the University of Florida on Saturday at the Pepsi Florida Relays.

The women finished off the meet with the 4x100m relay team of Collese Daley, Amani Wallace, Erin Patrice, and Kara Patrice running a time of 46.86, which qualifies them for the ECAC.  The 4x800m relay team of Briana Roberts, Ariella Garcia, Bridgett Redding, and Kaya Knake ran a time of 9:02.39 to finish seventh. 

For the men, in the 4x200m relay, John Oputa, Brian Nelson, Andrew Daniels, and Noel Njem ran a time 1:28.20 to finish in 15th.  In the men's distance medley relay, Ifa Eado, Erik Jenks, Miles Smith, and Matthew Kane took home seventh after crossing the line in 10:09.25. 

The Retrievers will return to action next weekend at Princeton at the Sam Howell Invite.
