Jacksonville, Fla.-- UMBC track and field senior Isahq Rana finished 48th in the shot put competition at the 2016 NCAA East Preiminaries on Saturday. He is the third and final competitor for the Retrievers to compete at the preliminaries. 

Rana had his best throw of 14.96m (49'1") to take 48th place on Saturday. 

The lone Retriever to advance to Oregon is Vinvent Rentzsch in the Javelin. He will compete in a couple weeks at historic Hayward Field in June.
