UMBC Track and Field Completes Action at IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Championships Sunday

PRINCETON, N.J.-- The UMBC track and field teams competed in the final day of the IC4A/ECAC Championships as the men's team finished in 31st place with eight points.

Junior Antonio Thomas (Columbia, Md./Long Reach) finished fourth in the 200-meter dash in a time of 21.66, while the 4x100-meter relay team of juniors Mohamed Koroma (Mitchelville, Md./C.H. Flowers/Morgan State), Adrian Arthur (Bowie, Md./Bowie), Jason Powell () and Thomas placed sixth in a time of 41.22.

In the triple jump, sophomore Victor Gilreath (Catonsville, Md./Western Tech/Maryland) placed 18th and senior Brian Pendleton (Aberdeen, Md./Harford Tech) finished 19th.

The Retrievers return to action May 29th for the NCAA Regional Championships.
