2019-20:

• Served as a team captain for the 2019-20 season
• Unable to compete for the majority of the season due to health issues, but earned a pair of finals appearances in the 2020 America East Championships
• Took part in the 50 and 100 yard backstroke finals

2018-19:

• At the America East Championships, touched in with a season-best time of 1:00.30 in the 100 back. 
• Also competed in the 50 free, touching in with a time of 25.28.
• Against William and Mary, finished seventh in the 100 back with a time of 1:00.97.
• At Navy, touched in eighth in the 100 back in a time of 1:02.44.
• Against Johns Hopkins and Delaware, finished eighth in the 100 back with a time of 1:01.24.

2017-18: Competed in three events at the America East Championships… Finished seventh in the 100 back, touching in with a time of 57.85… In the 50 free, finished with a personal-best time of 24.82… Also swam in the 200 back, touching the wall in a time of 2:07.39.

2016-17: Started her first year as a Retriever placing 17th in 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke at the America East Championship… Swam her best times in the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.38, the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:06.82, and the 200 free with a time of 1:56.85.

Background: Earned all-league, all-county, All-Long Island and All-State honors during her time at Baypoint Blue Port High School… Her best performance came during her junior year, where she had a career best in the 100 back, earning a spot in the state championships and Junior Nationals… Also played lacrosse in high school. 

Personal: Daughter of Gelean and James Horan… Has two siblings, Mary and Brenna… Majoring in psychology… Lists favorite food as pizza and favorite movie as “Billy Madison”.
