2006: Named to the America East all-conference second team… Ranked fourth on the team with 26 goals and 42 points and ranked second with 16 assists… Also recorded 42 ground balls, 11 draw controls and nine caused turnovers… Scored 12 goals and 18 points in America East Conference games… In America East games only, ranked third in ground balls per game (4.00), 10th in goals per game (2.25) and 10th in shots per game (5.25)… Started all 18 games for the Retrievers and posted 10 multi-goal games… Tallied a career-high four assists and seven points in UMBC’s season-opening victory over Howard… Posted a hat trick and added two assists for five points against Manhattan… Also scored five points on two goals and three assists against Binghamton… Recorded a hat trick against Vermont… Scored two game-winners on the season, against Canisius and Stony Brook… Also tallied the assist on the game-winning goal at Binghamton.

2004: Played in all 16 games, finishing the year with 12 goals and five assists… Had a hat trick against Stony Brook, as she scored the eventual game-winner in the 24-10 victory… Posted four multi-goal games, won 18 draw controls and picked up 21 ground balls.

2003: Made key contributions in the NEC title game against Mount St. Mary’s as she scored three goals and posted an assist... Was named womenslacrosse.com Rookie of the Week for her performance against the Mount… Had a stellar freshman campaign, scoring 20 goals while winning 23 draw controls and picking up 27 ground balls... Notched her first career goal and point against Old Dominion.

Background: A first-team all-county pick by The Baltimore Sun and Carroll County Times as a sophomore, junior and senior… Captained the South Carroll team as a senior… Selected as WTTR Athlete of the Week as a senior and Carroll County Times Player of the Week every year except as a freshman… Was also a three-year letter-winner in basketball and soccer, captaining both teams as a senior and earning all-county honors in soccer from The Baltimore Sun as a junior and senior… Daughter of Tom and Cathy Kasper… Younger sister, Kelly, plays lacrosse at Maryland… Born Nov. 25, 1984… Majoring in American studies and hopes to become a teacher.
