Biography

2003: Earned First Team All-Northeast Conference honors as a defender in 2003 as she started every game and recorded five goals while picking up 36 ground balls and causing 13 turnovers.

2002: Played in every game, scoring one goal, while scooping up 22 ground balls, and gaining eight draw controls.

2001: Came on late in the season to provide quality defense and toughness... Picked up 21 ground balls... Played in all 16 games, starting seven.

2000: As a freshman, she played in seven games, scoring one goal and getting eight ground balls.

BACKGROUND: Did not begin playing until age 14, but earned All-County honors by her senior year... Captained Wilde Cats to a .500 mark as a senior when no one expected them to win many games... Scored eight goals in a game vs. Atholton... Also earned four letters in indoor track and field, placing fourth in the county for the 55m high hurdles... Participated in dance for ten years, captaining the team in her senior year... Father, Robin, played soccer at George Mason University... Daughter of Anne and Robin Sawyer...Born on February 25, 1982.
