2023: Second Retriever to finish at the IC4A Championships 8K coming in 84th
FALL 2021: Competed in three races during the season, scoring in two of them… Had his best time of the year at the Navy Invite with a time of 25:59.17… Scored as one of the top Retriever finishers at the America East Championships with a time of 26:01.32… Also competed at the Mount 5K Duals with a time of 17:00.40.
2020: Did not compete.
2019: Did not compete for the Retrievers in 2019.
Background: Ran cross country and track at Richard Montgomery High School… Was named All-Met Honorable Mention his junior year… Ran a 15:34 at the Great American Cross Country Festival his junior year, placing 15th overall… Finished third in states his sophomore and freshman seasons in the 1,600m and 800m respectively… Helped his team win regionals for the first time in 21 years in 2018… Son of Jill and Marty Unger… Considering majoring in Environmental Science… Favorite pro team is the Washington Redskins.
